Verily, Your punishment of the unbelievers will be carried out.Hanafi commonly recite second version of Dua-E-Qunot. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful, You alone we worship, we pray to You, we prostrate for You, we strive for You, we fear Your punishment and we hope in Your mercy. We praise You, we do not deny You, and we disavow and abandon whoever is wicked to You. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful, we seek Your help and we seek Your forgiveness. O Allah, oppose their words and shake their footing and send upon them Your strength which the criminals cannot repel. O Allah, the curse is upon those who disbelieved among the people of the Scripture, who obstruct people from Your path and have denied Your Messenger and have fought Your allies. Ubaid ibn Umair reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, supplicated after bowing in prayer and he said, “O Allah, forgive the believing men and believing women and the Muslim men and Muslim women, bring their hearts together and reconcile between them, support them against Your enemies and their enemies.Blessed are You, our Lord, the Almighty.”(Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 464) Verily, he cannot be humiliated whoever is protected by You. Verily, You alone decree and none can issue decree over You. Hasan ibn Ali reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught me some words to say in the Witr prayer, “O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, secure me among those You have secured, protect me among those You have protected, bless me in what You have given me, and save me from the evil You have decreed.O Allah, place drought in their years like the years of Joseph.”(Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6393, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 675) O Allah, save the oppressed among the believers.
